The mission of the Towns County Anti-Drug Coalition (TCADC) is to
support an overall safe community by providing information and
education to children, families and community towards prevention of
illegal substance abuse. It was initiated by the Citizens of Towns
County in April 2009. The TCADC is a nonprofit public charity. It is
funded by community support, both business and private, by fund
raisers and by occasional grants. The Towns County Anti- Drug
Coalition also seeks support through the volunteer efforts of its
community members.

Advocacy Role
  • A 'Drug Free' Towns County
  • "Drugs Don't Work" in the workplace
  • Drug resistance counseling in the Towns County Jail
  • Random high school drug testing
  • Curriculum in schools, such as
           D.A.R.E.  (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)
               and the Mendez "Too Good for Drugs" program.
